- 1 Man-Day is 8 hours.
- Travel expenses not included and shall be invoiced separately.
- Sample analysis charges are as actual and shall be invoiced separately.
- Taxes applicable as per the rules and regulations of GOI.
- Getcert Pvt. Ltd. has developed a tariff structure, which provides a brief idea to the operators regarding the inspection and certification costs as per the product certification category.
- The fee structure is made available on Getcert Pvt. Ltd.’s website for public information and the same is communicated to NAB. It will be made available to applicants on formal request to Getcert Pvt. Ltd. The same will also available on APEDA website.
- Getcert Pvt. Ltd. has every right reserved to upgrade the inspection and certification fees as and when required. Any such revision in tariff structure will be intimated to APEDA and will be implemented after approval of APEDA. Clients are not charged additionally for additional information pertaining to certification requirements and process. Such information is provided in non-discriminatory manner and to the same extent to clients.
- The payment of inspection and certification fees do not substantiate the grant of certification. The grant of certification depends upon the compliance to the relevant standard, verification by Getcert Pvt. Ltd., fulfilment of the criteria set by relevant certification standard. However unless 100% payment is made by the operator the certificate of conformity shall not be issued to the operator.
- All financial transactions of inspection and certification relating to domestic as well as exports will be charged in Indian currency.
- The fee structure remains same for all operators irrespective of geographical location and size of the unit, age, gender, religious beliefs, cast, nationality, political views, specific group or on the basis of membership or association with any group etc. If the fee structure undergoes any changes it is communicated to existing clients and new applicants through publication on official website of Getcert Pvt. Ltd.
- Payment Terms for annual inspection under NPOP- The operator shall pay the certification fees as per following terms-
- 70 % of total amount to be paid along with contract and before the inspection.
- Remaining 30% should be paid upon receipt of report review notification and before the decision on certification.
- Additional Charges:
- Travel & Subsistence: All communication cost, travel & lodging boarding costs shall be charged extra; at actual and invoiced accordingly.
- Laboratory Fees: Clients will be asked to cover the cost of any laboratory fees for residue or contamination test, soil and water test, required directly with the testing laboratory. When the analysis of sample is done at the discretion of Getcert, the charges will be borne by Getcert Pvt. Ltd.
- Other Taxes: All fees are net of value added or withholding taxes and shall be payable on completion of each service provided.
- Transaction certificate: Transaction certificate cost will be charged extra @ Rs. 1500 (for export/ TC) and Rs 750 (for domestic/ TC).
- The Tariff/Fees is exclusive of taxes, operator/service provider needs to pay GST/service tax and any other applicable taxes/service charges as set out by concern Government/Department/Authority/Agency.
- Based on above fees structure, a detailed estimate of the overall cost will be send before each inspection.
- All client’s certification are subject to a comprehensive renewal inspection at the end of certification cycle, in order to reassess the continued compliance with certification standard when the tariff structure cited by Getcert is applicable for every renewal of certification cycle.
- If the operator is responsible for a necessary additional inspection (or re-inspection) –unannounced or announced audit due to major deficiencies or doubt or complain (e.g. use of illicit means or additional inspections imposed by Certification Committee due to detection of serious non-compliances or due to other reasons for which operator is responsible) Getcert reserves the right to levy additional fees. These will be calculated on the basis of costs thereby incurred.
- Additional time for inspection, review and certification caused by missing or wrong information due to the operator’s shortcomings, or for services not included in the initial offer will be charged extra to the client.
- Refund Policy:
- Refund of certification fees depends upon the amount of certification work done by Getcert and status of certification of the operator.
- Registration charges and the charges incurred due to travelling and associated expenses are non-refundable.
- Below are the refund % (excluding registration charges)
60 % refund if the request to withdraw or update of the application comes prior to initial review 50% refund if the request to withdraw or update of the application comes after initial review but prior to inspection 0 % refund Once the audit is planned and executed

RULES FOR THE USE OF MARKS AND LOGOS OF GETCERT PVT. LTD.
Getcert Pvt. Ltd. has prepared this document “Rules for the Use Logos of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. for the purpose of client(s) whose activities are under certification control of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. and whose products are certified by Getcert Pvt. Ltd.
This document provides guidelines for the use of logos of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. by the client(s) on the products and other by whatsoever medium.
Getcert Pvt. Ltd. is a legally registered entity and the logo of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. is registered under trademark. Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark can be used on the product label(s) for the product(s) certified by Getcert Pvt. Ltd.; in accordance with the requirements of relevant certification standard of organic production.
Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark can be used, as the case may be, to refer to the certification and certification control of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. only for the activities and products certified by Getcert Pvt. Ltd.
Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark is property of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. Any unauthorized use or reference of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark will be dealt with suitable action.
I. General Rules for the Use of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. Trademark
The following general rules must be respected whatever the type of media, for all uses of the
Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark and/or reference to Getcert Pvt. Ltd. or to the certification:
1. Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark can only be used/ reference of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. can only be made by the client on packages, labels, involves, website, publicity and advertising material, only after prior approval from Getcert Pvt. Ltd.
2. Upon demonstration of full compliance to relevant certification standard/ scheme by the contracted client, the permission to use Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark can be granted in the form of certificate and/ or other provided the Contract/ Terms and Conditions signed between Getcert Pvt. Ltd. and the Client/ Operator is in force.
3. The client shall use Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark and mark of conformity and make reference to Getcert Pvt. Ltd. certification as per the requirements cited by Getcert Pvt. Ltd. and requirements of relevant certification standard/ scheme.
4. Only such exporters, manufacturers and processors whose products are duly certified by Getcert Pvt. Ltd., will be granted the license to use of the trademark, which would be governed by a set of regulations set by Getcert Pvt. Ltd. and requirements of relevant certification standard/ scheme.
5. Use of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark and reference to Getcert Pvt. Ltd. or to the certification shall only be made for the product(s), organization(s) and activities(s) certified by Getcert Pvt. Ltd.
6. Use of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark and reference to Getcert Pvt. Ltd. or to the certification, by the client shall only be made for the product(s), organization(s) and activities(s) certified by Getcert Pvt. Ltd., while the contact signed between the client and Getcert Pvt. Ltd. is in force.
7. The user shall not use the Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark and/or reference to Getcert Pvt. Ltd. or to the certification in any way bring Getcert Pvt. Ltd. into disrepute and considered unauthorized by Getcert Pvt. Ltd.
8. Upon suspension or withdrawal or cancelation of certification and / or the right to use the Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark/ mark of conformity, the client(s) shall-
a. Immediately stop the use of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark and mark of conformity.
b. Inform about the same to its clients, stakeholders and other interested parties without any delay.
c. Immediately stop to issue or use any certificates, reports, labels displaying Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark and mark of conformity or containing references to Getcert Pvt. Ltd. certification.
d. Shall ensure the discontinuation of any materials (whether electronic or hardcopy) usage and distribution which refers to certification and display mark of conformity and Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark.
9. These rules shall always and every time be read and implemented along with the requirements of labeling and use of mark of conformity set by relevant certification standard(s)/ scheme(s). Where ever the legislative requirements/ requirements of relevant certification standard(s)/ scheme(s) interfere with these rules (TM-GCPL); the legislative requirements/ requirements of relevant certification standard(s)/ scheme(s) shall prevail.
II: GRAPHIC CHRACTORISTICS
1. Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark is protected by trademark registration rules by Getcert Pvt. Ltd. The logo will be made available in digital format upon request. Graphic representation of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark is as below,
2. Component: The components of the logo are fixed and may not be modified.
3. Colour of Logo:
4. Colour of Background: On a background coloured white or any other light colour.
5. Shape of the logo: Neither the shape nor the typography of the logo may be changed.
6. Size of the logo The logo must have a minimum length of 8 mm. and breadth of 6 mm. Its proportions must be respected. The logo must be surrounded by empty space that is equal to one third of its length and breadth.
7. Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark can be applied in the following ways:
a. On product packaging, label etc.
b. On literature, brochures, company leaflets, invoices, delivery notes.
c. In corporate advertising and website.
d. On exhibition equipment and company displays.
8. Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark shall appear in following ways-
a. Complete and upright.
b. In proportion to the unit description.
c. Clearly visible on the main face or information panel.
d. No less prominent than mark of conformity and any other logo.
III: SPECIFIC RULES FOR USE ON PACKAGING AND LABELLING OF ORGANIC CERTIFIED PRODUCTS
1. All types of packaging or labeling of certified products displaying Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademarks and/or reference to Getcert Pvt. Ltd. or to the certification must respect the specific packaging and labelling rules defined in the relevant certification standard pertaining to the organic production and labeling.IV: SPECIFIC RULES FOR USE FOR THE PURPOSES OF COMMUNICATION
1. The following specific rules must be respected for all media used for the purposes of communication displaying Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark and/or reference to Getcert Pvt. Ltd. or to the certification:a. While displaying Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark and/or reference to Getcert Pvt. Ltd. the reference shall be made correctly and in a non-misleading manner.
b. While referring to the group of products, in which only some are certified, a mention identifying the corresponding certified products must be added to inform clearly the consumer.
V: MODIFICATION OF THIS RULES
1. Getcert Pvt. Ltd. have every right to modify this rule for use of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. Logo, based on the legislation relating to the labeling of the product(s) and/ or any amendments made in the certification standard pertaining to organic production and labeling. Any changes to this rule shall be communicated to all stakeholders.VI. BREACH OF THE RULES
1. In event of violation of intellectual property rights and/ or violation of these rules and/ or unauthorized, misleading and malefic use of Getcert Pvt. Ltd. trademark/ to the reference to Getcert Pvt. Ltd./ to the certification will be dealt with suitable sanctions as per the set procedures cited in relevant certification standards and/ or as deemed necessary with suitable legal action.Subcontractors
