Getcert Pvt. Ltd. is currently seeking qualified candidates to join our advisory committee. This is a good opportunity to contribute in the best interest of the organic agricultural movement , organic farmers, and various stakeholders.
Position: Advisory Committee Member
Key Responsibilities:
- A. Provide advices on policies and procedures relating to the inspection and certification implemented by Getcert Pvt. Ltd.
- B. Provide advice to Getcert Pvt. Ltd regarding formation of policies and procedures in the best interest of the organic agricultural movement, organic farmers, and various stakeholders.
- C. Providing advise to Getcert Pvt. Ltd. in formulation of technical standards/ guidelines pertaining to sustainable farming, organic agriculture and other as relevant in the field of sustainability.
Who can apply Any science graduate with knowledge in agriculture preferably organic farming or having experience in organic industry which may include but not limit to e.g. agriculture officers, agricultural researchers/ scientists, representative from agriculture collage/ university or other educational institutions, students, consumer activists, manufacturers, suppliers, users, consumers and conformity assessment experts etc. We look forward for applications from candidates of all backgrounds and related experience.

Position: Impartiality/ Appeals Committee Member
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the policies and principles relating to the impartiality of Getcert Pvt. Ltd.’s certification activities.
- Advising on the policies and matters related to the impartiality and non-discrimination.
- Counteracting any tendency on the part of a certification body to allow commercial or other considerations to safeguard the consistent impartial provision of certification activities.
- Randomly or annually review the process of grant of certification or evaluation done by the certification body.
- Handling matters affecting impartiality and confidence in certification, including openness and public perception.
- Handling cases of appeals related to decision on certification.

Who can apply Any Graduate or Post graduate in either Agriculture/ Food Technology/ Other Life Sciences Faculties/ Environmental Sciences etc. with knowledge in agriculture, having at least 2 years of experience in field of organic certification.
